The Morning After
Terrible early start as The Bossess had a plane to catch and the easiest road had 1 1/2 metre sno drifts and a big road closed sign so it was the long way round which was OK but since she was panicking a bit we left super early just incase.
The day was variable and Queenstown was a lot more inclement than Wanaka but there was some sky showing and her plane came and went and all was well with her world.
We drove bark the same way and after a stop for emergency hot choc for The Boss and a pat on the head for me. (he might have saved the marshmallow) we headed home and suddenly out of the gloomy sky the sun broke, The Boss braked, The camera pak was opened, The Suzz door was opened, The Boss ran across the road and the rest is displayed above.
By the time he was back in the car it had almost gone.
I think this is called a fleeting moment.
If you pass this way you may notice the skid marks on the side of the road as there were scene blocking trees coming up.
The rest of the day was good too as the sun sorta came out again for a bit and I got a big blat on my favourite track where amazingly enough there was not a sign of snow. (Other side of the lake)
Oh and many barks for your response to “The Tree” You do seem to like this thing.
Oh and just like Marshmallows this is greater, bigger.
