Shaping up
Just one photo today, a progress report on the bougainvillea that was just beginning to flower here.
Up early to wash up after last night. Miracle Mary offered to come and do it, but we used our precious china (all from The Reject China Shop, many moons ago, and no longer available) and I felt she' was far too kamikaze to be trusted with it. It doesn't come down off the dresser very often, as it can't go in the dishwasher - and then there are the wine glasses (nothing fancy, but highly breakable).
Anyway, it wasn't too bad - as I put the food out for people to serve themselves in the kitchen, I had reduced it to an unnatural state of tidiness before the guests arrived, so it was mostly just plates and glasses.
Once again I'm back-blippng, and the rest of the day is a bit of a blur. I do recall feeling exceptionally tired. Could we be getting a bit past the age for going to bed after 3.15 a.m. twice in one week, plus a sleepless night or two?
