Feisty Hawk

This Harrier Hawk came in last week with a suspected wing injury. After xraying him we found no break but bad bruising. He has been on  "bed rest" for about 5 days.....he is now ready for release. He is so feisty we had problems even changing his towel this morning. had to resort to a plastic dish brush to distract him!!!! He is ready to go.....I do love these birds, more so as I learn what makes them tick...He has his mouth open to scare us, wings down to make him look larger and his talons at the ready to fight!!!
