Beware of drips

Day 2 of decorating today. I finished the tiny bit of stripping that was left from yesterday, bought some paint, picked up the wallpaper from Next and painted the ceiling. It never ceases to amaze me how quick ceilings can be painted with a roller but it makes such a mess and takes ages to clean the roller afterwards.

This was about the only photo I took today as the 'Jubilee Party' I attended at our local community centre was a big flop as there were only about 15 people there and they were all the organisers! It was such a shame as they'd gone to so much trouble setting it all out and there were hundreds of cakes but I think they'd actually forgotten to tell people about it!
