Cattle in gateway

This morning N and I drove to the other side of the farm to shut the cattle into another field in order that the silage trailers can pass through the field they were grazing.  The brown and white faced ones are home bred and the others were bought in several months ago.  We noticed there was a water trough leak, cattle are infamous for pushing the troughs which sometimes causes bad water leaks which we of course have to pay for.

T and the team were flying about with trailers to and fro from the fields to the silage pit.  They had a good day without any major breakdowns and the grass was thick and of very good quality.  They worked on til midnight, with several more fields to go tomorrow.  K provided them all with freshly cooked sausage, bacon, baps and chips to keep them going!
