The Hub

It was another 'ladies who lunch'  day for me when I met up with two of my last year's writing class in the Hub on the Royal Mile.

My recent holidays paled into insignificance in comparison to tales of trekking in Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Portugal not forgetting  plans for future sailing up the Amazon and a journey across the Atlantic in the Queen Mary 2

It was fun to enjoy their adventures vicariously without first undergoing the trauma involved in air travel, although with the summer weather on offer here at the moment, even standing in an interminable queue through security might be worth it for just a little bit of heat
