Beach Babe

We had a second day with our friend today, so we decided to head off to the beach. We arrived to find it pretty empty, which was brilliant. We built a huge sandcastle, we made her into a big sand mermaid, she had a play in the sea, we looked for shells and pretties, we ate the picnic. We had a drink on the promenade, she chose a windmill "because they look so pretty". We then walked to the children's water fountain and she splashed and played in there for ages. We then did lots of cartwheels, tig and daisy chains before we headed home. 

She had a bit of a play at home before we went to her piano lesson. She was such a good girl today, so focussed and wanted to do a lot. Her teacher was really pleased with how she'd come on this week, despite not having the time we usually have to practice. She concentrated super hard and grinned the whole time. 

We have popped to Tesco's for a bit of borrowed wifi and a spot of shopping for tea ingredients before we dash home for swimming kit and head to her swimming lesson!
