A day at Portmerion Village, Gwynedd, North Wales.

We spent about four hours here at this wonderful Italian style village built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975. We have been before, but this time we have brought two of our American friends who were just amazed by it all. She bought two Portmerion plates as souvenirs ( now sadly made in Stoke on Trent) and he bought a bottle of Penderyn Whisky (Sherrywood) which celebrated the centenary of the birth of The poet Dylan Thomas.
