The Court Jester

Unless you live under a rock, it was difficult to get away from anything to do with the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. Nursery was no exception and today all the kids were to dress in red, white and blue for a Jubilee party. Little D's still in quarantine, although heaps better now, so he missed out on the shin-dig but Miss A was keen to get partying - although still unsure as to what all the fuss was about.

On her return from pre-school she said she saw HM today and she asked her:

'How are you, Queenie?'

I said 'Really? What did she say?'

'I'm fabulous!' (then collapsed in a fit of giggles)
