Sitting tenant
Busy, rushing kind of day, dealing with a million things before the weekend. Of course, when you have a day like that a million other things rear their ugly heads demanding more urgent attention.
But still, a moment at the end of the day to look at the plants. This miniature rose predates me being in this garden and is holding its own against the bearded irises in whose bed it is stowing away. The irises have had a poor year (too overcrowded, I think) so the rose has had a chance to shine. Seen here through the fuzz of the massively productive hardy geranium (Johnson's Blue?)
