Conversation

With yesterday's busy busy out of the way, today I could get around to getting the house ready for a visitor.  So some quick ironing, hoovering and baking.  Ro is one of my oldest pals.  The first person I met properly at College, and one of TallGirl's godmothers.  She is also a rather busy person herself, so we all felt rather fortunate to have her for such a long stay.

Despite the best efforts of Toulouse car hire, she arrived, and fizz was soon opened, duck and chips eventually prepared and the weekend launched.

This was a passing shot of the Economist ads book which is open on the library table.  It's a convenient read while waiting for CarbBoy to brush his teeth.
