A sad tale

We only have a small front garden but this morning we noticed a dead hunting bird, maybe a hawk. I was in a rush to go out for the day so didn't take a photo, but hubby saw a crow go off with the carcass. On the other side of the front garden this evening, there is a load of feathers, this is a few of them. We do have a fox family in a neighbouring garden and there are plenty of crows around. We have never seen any hunting birds around so we're a bit surprised to see it.
