Jackdaws

My apologies for the very unimaginative title. I'm not entirely sure what this pair was up to when I spotted them as I was walking home from the bus stop, but both of them flew off with what looked like a clump of earth that they had dug up in their beaks. Perhaps they were gathering building materials for a nest?

My foot was still swollen a fair bit and felt quite warm and painful when I had my physio session and I was allowed to skip the exercises that I usually have to do after it has been stretched and massaged.
