Frosted crab apples

At least I think they are crab apples. Very large ones.They were right by the fence in someone's garden as I walked round the block this morning.
I had spent half an hour trying to photograph the 50 or so pigeons that were swirling round the just cut maize paddock. A hawk was stirring them up. They swooped and dived and although I got something it wasn't as good as this. I can try the pigeons again another day- she says hopefully.
This is closeup rather than macro. And not a flower for Friday either.
