Marina at dawn
The channel that drains the tide from the Moutere Lagoon. It drains through a culvert, past the marina and heads east round the corner past Talleys fish factory and out to sea. I hadn't been to this spot for a while. We were up early and dawn is later so I was there as the sun was coming up over the trees and just shining on the boats. A cold wind blowing in off the snow from the west. I got my photo then walked round the boardwalk to York Park and beyond to get warm.
Had lunch out for Mr S's birthday and with tea all ready I have got on and got a job done I wasn't looking forward to.Typing up the notes from interviews with people who have given us photos for our wharf book project. They are done!! It seemed a shame to be indoors on such a lovely sunny day but it couldn't be put off any longer.
