Cowslip after Rain

It has been a day of bright sun and dark clouds, of warmth and then cold rain, of calmess and then strong gusts of wind, in other words a cold front day.
We’ve been preparing for tomorrw’s beer dinner with friends, clearing up the house and even the garden a little.
In the evening another downpour blew by  followed by evening sun.
These cowslips in the lawn were almost glowing in the low sun and I took a few photos. In the end this macro won out, mainly because of the rain droplet I’m sure.
