Dens at Delamere

hometime via Delamere forest. love it here. we've been in every season now and its great how different everything looks each time. they still love the den building area. was pretty quiet this time as, despite being half term, the promised new Gruffalo trail hasn't been installed yet. meant they got to fashion their own den in peace while daddy went off in search of the dirt jumps on his bike. While i did all the heavy lifting and most of the construction,  L busied herself finding ferns and pinecones and D went off in search of stairs and a seat, plus bluebells for decoration. pretty, don't you think?

D rode the whole way round on his new bike. L still refusing to ride on hers. C happy as usual snuggled up to mummy in the sling.
