Porty People and Places

Running this morning on this part of the route of this weekend's Edinburgh Marathon I did think that this pop up spiritual stall's literature might be coincident with some of the runners thoughts on Sunday.

A busy day of work from home in the morning, meetings in town in the afternoon and the RSNO Concert in The Usher Hall this evening,

Elgar's Dream of Gerontius was stunningly performed .  Its theme is linked to the literature on the promenade this morning.

The age profile of the audience tonight was heavily balanced in favour of the mature end of the spectrum. I hope the RSNO has a  robust strategy to rejuvenate its audience appeal.
