Ear Ear

A day of huge contrast.

Started off in Soshanguve, a massive township between Pretoria and Rustenburg. The school we visited has 447 children with disabilities. They are doing great things but are severely under resourced. Hopefully the sponsor we have waiting can turn things around.

Then a visit to the audiologist with a 12 year old little girl who is losing her sight and hearing simultaneously. The process to test what is going on was fascinating and they are giving her Bluetooth hearing aids to help her as much as possible. Normal price R57k but free to her, such great people live in this city.

Last but not least, a gourmet dinner at the Michelangelo with T&P. Seven courses of spectacular food, each with a different wine. Lovely jubbly.
