So close

It is Comrades Day and some records have been broken.

The true spirit of the 89km race is in this photo though.

With just a couple of minutes before being disqualified at the cut off time of 12 hours, this chap decided that he needed to help a stranger finish her race. And they did, with a few seconds to spare.

We spent most of the morning watching the race and cooking up some chow for the hoolies. Our walk with them was good as was our fish and prawn early supper.

Back to work tomorrow, hopefully the day will go past as quickly as it did today.
