Leaves of Grass

There are only two more days left in May so I thought I would devote both of them to getting macro shots.  I went into the park this morning, hoping to get a dragonfly or damselfly, but became quite distracted when the Heron flew in for breakfast, and then I noticed that one of the three goslings was missing. :-(   

The very small damselflies flit about and are quite hard to see.  I was glad when this one landed on a blade of grass and sat still long enough for me to get off a few shots.  The extra shots are of one of the remaining goslings right out of the water, and the heron, up close and personal.
