Rhododendrons everywhere

I'm not really very keen on rhododendrons, thinking they're better suited to the Himalayas than the English countryside. But our walk across Houghton Moor this afternoon was lined by thousands of pink flowers, presumably escapees from the garden of the nearby estate.
