Thangka

I was looking around the house for some blip inspiration when I came across my father's thangka (a Buddhist silk painting from the Himalayas).

My father was enamoured of India ever since he went there on the hippie trail in the 60s and went back several times, often on walking holidays (he had the travel bug that every member of the family seems to have inherited). Over the years he acquired a few thangkas and other bits of Indian and Himalayan art.
