Flying high

It was a wet windy day as I set out with a few fellow photographers from the local photography club.  It was a day for those of us who wanted to understand a bit more about their cameras, i.e the beginners.  We were set a project and while we were doing this I took the opportunity to take a few extra shots.  This was taken in an area where there is a little of the old port area left.  Most of it is now luxury flats.    A kite festival was also taking place today in the area behind the boat.

An interesting and exciting day.  Not sure how I will fit in all my activities especially since I have also said yes to an allotment.
