Boy In The Bookshop

TT was up and out early to get into Edinburgh for the marathon.  I had offered to take him in, but he was happy to take the bus, which probably got him closer to the start than I could have done.  The weather wasn’t as bad as forecast, but he struggled the last 8 miles which was straight into the ever strengthening wind.  He was still fairly happy with his sub 3h 30min time. 

BB and I shopped this morning, before he went  to the local festival parade with cubs. It was freezing, but he didn’t want his coat.  Once he set off on the parade, I got the call to collect TT.  Once home I had to throw TT out, before going to pick BB up – whew! We then had a few friends round to celebrate TT’s good running/BB’s birthday. It was lovely to see everyone, and I drank far too much prosecco!

Here is BB in the bookshop this morning. He didn’t have his book token with him, so I had to buy him a book (Captain Underpants!).  The extra picture is of getting ready for the parade.
