Remember the smoking carriages in trains, the smoking section at the back of aeroplanes, the top deck of buses? Remember when people lit up in restaurants after a meal, or during, sometimes? Remember the smoke in offices, then smoking rooms that leached into the corridor; the half of the cinema where you could supposedly go to be away from smoke? Remember when the pub garden was for non-smokers?

How quickly all that changed.
