Cavendish Square

Even though it's still not very warm (despite the fact that it's June today) there are always lots of people who spend their lunchtime in Cavendish Square. It's right behind John Lewis on Oxford Street, close to Regent Street, so there are literally thousands of office workers, shop workers and construction workers within a few yards of here, so it's hardly surprising really.

The square dates from the 18th century but is now completely encircled by busy roads and has a car park beneath it which accommodates over 500 cars. I suppose it's like an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the West End.
