Vercours

It's been a long day today.  We have driven for 10 hours but are now in Provence where we have a day-off tomorrow before we get the ferry to Corsica on Wednesday.

The weather has improved and was briefly 28 deg while we were driving down.

Very little time for photographs today as we had to get to our campsite destination by 8pm.  The scenery after Grenoble as we drove through the Vercours was stunning.  This shot was grabbed from a so-called viewpoint which was more of a view of a road and a wire fence.  All the amazing views were from the car on the move.  We have visited the Vercours before and the history of the resistance in this area is amazing.

Shhh! - Don't tell Technophobe but hopefully tomorrow's rest day will involve some bicycle action on some of the hilly roads around here
