Autumns rubbish

I didn't have as much fun today as I have over the past long weekend. But I did make inroads into a job I'd like to complete before I finish working at the university.

It was a weird day, not overly cold but cool, not quite misty but damp. My washing from the weekend didn't dry as much as I'd hoped. The hot water cupboard will sort it.

The light was strange today too. While dull I noticed any remaining autumn leaves stood out, their finery of colour an exclamation mark on the tar seal and concrete of campus.

Enough words, the kitchen needs my attention and then to bed.
