The thirsty earth

We're in the middle of two days of accurately forecasted heavy rain and high winds, perhaps you are too. There's a beauty in rain, and in walking in the rain when you know warm and dry is only a mile or so away (and equally detestation when it's not), and for a certainty the gardens need this downpour. Sunshine is coming, I'm told.
