Thank goodness...

...for a willing blip model in Pookie, as the rain shows no sign of letting up. I had to bribe bargain with her, though - she wanted some tuna, I needed a blip. Deal! 

Tonight I'm planning to watch the first episode of the new series of 'The Syndicate', penned by the brilliant Kay Mellor this time. The previous two series made excellent viewing, so I'm hopeful that this one will follow suit. 

I was shocked this morning to hear of the death of Charles Kennedy, by all accounts an honest, principled politician and a genuinely good man.
