Tricky trails

Hiking trails is a much more adventurous enterprise here in the US compared to the Netherlands. Besides the fact that the forests are so large that you can actually get seriously lost, we have not yet hiked a single trail that had non-ambiguous signs. So far, each trail has had at least one split-section with no trail signs, or some other adventurous features, such as this (beaver?) dam that we had to cross today to continue the trail (which merely seemed to be laid out for snow scooters).  Never boring!

Living the life of a local, upon return the hot tub was awaiting us, with a book, a beer and sun set. Mmmmm (see extra photo)
