The Hallowed 'Crete...

I had to pick up Mrs TFP in Livingston this afternoon, so took the opportunity to visit the hallowed concrete of Scotland and see how she rolls with her new face lift.  Got the place completely to myself as well.

The newest extention of Livi Skatepark has been fraught with issues has the company that build the section you see to the far right, didn't build to a quality that the skate community felt worthy of Livi.  Luckily, I believe, they didn't get the contract to resurface the existing park which by all accounts is really rather good so far.

The big question is what to do with the half pipe.  Livi half pipe is like no other in the world.  There is no denying that it has character.  Character that has been ground (grinded!?) into it over it's 35 odd years existence.  There are lots of skaters that would like to see it retain that uniqueness and I don't envy the people that take that one on.
