Cloud Cuddles
Last night's storm began with a crackle of very close lightning and developed into a major thunder-boomer that lasted for a couple of hours from midnight until 2am. The pyrotechnics were awesome...I missed them all when I finally dared step outside. Got soaked in a trice and just watched the flashes from the safety (?) of the front porch.
This morning, the storm was silently stealing away...slithering around the mountains; cutting off the top of grand St. Mary's Peak. Poor little St. Joseph can barely be seen. His role downplayed even as a mountain, poor fella.
So the clouds gave the Bitterroots a cuddle and sped away as I dashed up to Missoula for yet another, but the final, visit and OK from my surgeon to go ahead with radiation. Yessss! We begin the 17th...I have 2 shows to go, y'know. Can't be bothered with zaps until they're done and dusted. They said it was ok....after all, I can't just mail the thing in, fellas.
Thank you all for your patience with my spotty comments and general puttering about the sites. I'll have time once we start the process....I hope. Friends have said the fatigue puts your face in the soup....but that's the way I eat soup anyway. ;-D
