Not Porty People or Places

Yesterday's bridge seen this evening from the same location.

We were on our way home from a very noisy, convivial evening in a downtown restaurant where the live music matched the liveliness of the excellent food and locally brewed Nigerian beer. We were made most welcome by our hosts, this evening, as  our work here ends tomorrow afternoon. It has been a fascinating and extremely worthwhile trip.

On our way back to the hotel this evening, we were taken round the Police Roundabout - so called because it is near where the Police have  their HQ. The roundabout has become a public memento to the 200 missing girls who have been kidnapped in the north of the country. Each girl is represented by a silhouette overlaid with a question mark. A poignant and thought provoking sight.
