Finkley Down Derby

I am visiting my mum in Hampshire with our daughter and granddaughter. We travelled down yesterday and today we went, with my sister, to Finkley Down Farm Park.

It is a small urban farm with a few goats, chickens, rabbits, llamas, alpacas, horses and sheep. There are a few other species as well.

It is one of those places where you can feed and touch the animals. Jessica loved it. There is a also a small play park where she had fun.

One of the activities is a sheep race which was great fun. All the children get to chose a sheep to cheer on. Just a small course with half a dozen hurdles and some big bowls of food to encourage them to the finish (the sheep not the children). Our choice, "Mitsubisheep" didn't win!
