A Day Wandering Glenmalure

Spent the day wandering Glenmalure with Fluffikens looking for wildlife. This mare had just been taken out of the traces of the wagon and decided a roll in the grass was required...

Managed to see a magnificent fox across the river and although a little too far away it was a memorable sight. We also happened across a small herd of fallow deer with a day old fawn. A red kite thrilled us with plenty of opportunities for photos. A pair of pheasants and some red deer grazing with a flock of sheep drew us to a small herd of feral deer high on the scree..... and we hadn't had lunch yet!!!

Without a single photo it was a wonderful day for spotting wildlife. With the photos we got it was up amongst our best days out.....just saying
