Young Starling

The rain has returned again today and it was very grey. Cleared up later to produce some sun


I took lots of shots of cows in the mud, ship wrecks and Oystercatchers but I am woken every morning by these Starlings at our bird table. I liked this shot of one of the young in the rain waiting for a parent to bring food.

The Oystercatcher chicks have jumped off the wall and are now on the beach, two chicks still remain and I feel they are quite safe. If you would like to see a bit more of these lovely birds and chicks have a look
