Spot the Birdie

Frustrating start to what turned into a lovely day. We set off to a lovely swim spot that I've been excited about visiting for ages, but found the walking route was closed. As I don't know the area well we didn't manage to find an alternative way to get there, so we changed plans. A bit of sulking later, we found ourselves walking round Grasmere and Rydal Waters - and did 10 miles in all!
This lovely heron wasn't fazed by us watching him, so I had enough time to get this shot.
