Tum Tum Ti Tumti Tum Tum Teddy
Teddy has a wedding to play for tomorrow. His last. four and a half hours. And a jazz waltz version of Tum Tum Ti Tumti Tum Tum, which he'll have to make up on the spot.
It's amazing what a deadline does. He wouldn't be doing anything if it weren't for knowing that there's a woman in white expecting him tomorrow. And if it weren't for the pressure, and the fact that it's hard to practise in a flat, he wouldn't have realised that his headphones work on the bottom most socket of the piano! All these years plugging into the wrong place and nothing happening. Teddy is sure its a metaphor for something, but he's not sure if he cares.
And with no playmate to turn pages it will be a strange day. Teddy's just realised that means he will have to pick the music as well. Wonder how many ways you can play the Paddington Bear theme before you're spotted.
Frantically flipping pages Teddy.
<sigh>
