Gonna write a classic

I spent this morning at the hospital with the eye consultant who put nasty drops in to open up my pupils and make them sting...but he told me all was well so I forgave him.
As I wasn't allowed to drive for a while I walked..to the VW dealership over the road and spent a very pleasant couple of hours with Bryn working out what sort of Golf GTD convertible I might want to drive. I was honest and told him he wouldn't be getting rhe order today. I've also arranged to test drive it next week when my driving capabilities are back on form. It's always fun car shopping!
Anyhow, I got home to a parcel from the postman. This book that I've won! Thank you to penguin & mumsnet I may even be able to look through it tomorrow.
