It wasn't easy But nothing is

Another medal. Though no trophy. A first ski race day for Miniman at the Snowdome. It was brilliantly organised and all the kids had a lot of fun & got a medal.
It was something I wanted to do as a kid. I saw skiing in books and then on TV and was hooked totally and completely. I didn't get my feet into (really uncomfortable) ski boots until I was 21 but from the first day I loved it.
To see my little man enjoying it as much as I do but so much younger makes my heart sing. How long I'll be able to keep up with him is another matter!
