Zephyranthes candida

The garden centre has a beautiful section for water gardens. It was fun shopping this morning and I picked up a variety of plants that I haven't grown before. This rain lily is native to South America and is known as a Peruvian Swamp Lily. There isn't any hope of it surviving the cold Canadian winter, but I hope that it will be blooming near the pond all summer. :)
