Class Photo
One of the classes that I'm taking requires a fake wedding photo shoot. It is really hard to find a fake bride with a white wedding dress (a requirement for the class). In the end, not being able to find any else despite looking for a couple of weeks, a ill-fitting long light mauve dress from the goodwill store was the best we could do. So we pinned it up and lit it up.
On the plus side, a brand new wide angle zoom was really fun to try. I can hardly wait to play with it when classes are over. :)
Thanks to Inna and Stan, the fake wedding couple, who are actually a real-life couple. Somehow, Inna carried off that dress. Also thanks to Samira, a classmate, who helped me out holding the speedlight for this shot. Lastly, thanks to Kevin. After the shoot on the waterfront, he took us out on the boat so that we could get some sunset shots (to be processed and posted later in the week).
Kevin had a long day. He left the house about 5:30am to take some colleagues from Europe out on the boat to go fishing. Some other colleagues were interested in boating, so he took them out in the afternoon. Then, he skippered for our photo shoot. I think he made it home about 10:00pm, where his head promptly hit the pillow!
