Egrets? I've had a few ...

But the marsh wren won the day. They were really hard to spot but a few sat still long enough to photograph.Bombay Hook is an amazing place for birds at all times of the year. Spring/early summer is apparently best for land birds , though some snowy egrets and great egrets were around. In extras there is a shot of some of the 10 or so that were hanging out in one field. With a lone snow goose in their midst ( wrong time of year for that one). There is also, because they are so darn hard to spot and I was proud of myself for even seeing it let alone getting a photo of it , a common yellow throat . There is also a blue grosbeak because I had never seen one before and they are pretty , and a toad , because Elise insisted.
