Perfect Day

....to me, anyway. The weather was great for the start of the studio tour. Too great....everyone headed for the hills and parks. I saw more backpacks than purses.
     Pictured here, Blodgett Canyon and the Edge pond offered SiBonz and I a brief walk before the tour began and I was trapped in my studio all day.
     I did get some work done while waiting between visitors. I have a new commission I'm excited about: a 7 foot dancing Flathead woman. I can't wait to get the maquette done for approval. I'll start with a 20" figure, get that approved; then have the 7-footed laser-cut from foam...add about an inch of clay and get her cast before winter!  I hope... That's the plan for now. :-))
