Heading for Home

Canada goose family travel from the misbehaving river to the still green waters of the pond behind our location for my annual art show. The babies are well-protected by mom and pop, but the sly fox that lives near here has preyed on them from the reeds. The hotel personnel chase him away every day to protect the geese and ducks who frequent this pond. The birds seem to know who to trust. It's a welcome mat on the hotel lawn they seek and they find it.
