Whipman 2015

With apologies to my Fb friends who have already seen this photo.

Today is the first Saturday of the annual West Linton Whipman Play, the highlight of which is the Rideout.  On their way out of the village ,and having been led the the edge by a pipe band, the 78 horses and their riders make a spectacular splash as they cross the ford accompanied by 4WDs, Quads and an ambulance (!)  Even poor weather couldn't dilute the pleasure for participants and onlookers who sheered on this year's Whipman, Ryan Stewart.
