The benefits of 'neglect'

One part of our "neglected garden" is quite deliberately "neglected" in that we don't tamper with it: a triangle furthest away from the house is packed to bursting with shrubs and flowers which butterflies and bees like.

Today, an unexpectedly glorious one, the noise of buzzing and humming is deafening! I don't think I have ever seen so many bees on the cotoneaster and lots of butterflies too.
