Downtown Reykjavik, 10.30 at night. An electric car (not ours) is charging at the quick charge pole, and it is still light outside. M was at a work team building thing that was supposed to finish at 10, but took a bit longer. I visited friends until they wanted to go to bed (with a 2 year old and another baby on its way, they were a bit tired!). I drove around looking at the beautiful colours in the sky, until it was time to fetch M (they were in a neighbouring town and came back in a bus). We got home after midnight, fortunately it was still light, so it did not feel so late.
